Financing has vanished. It is difficult for any type of developer to arrange financing for secondary residence buyers. Having said that, I have seen some troubled developers trying to turn unsuccessful preconstruction projects into fractional ownership projects. While this is possible, it needs to make logical sense. Successful fractional properties often come with a higher level of service when compared to a normal condominium. Pricing also needs to be in line with the current market. - Chris Arnold
